The Problem: A Broken Site and a Live Deadline

B4English is an online English tutoring service offering one-to-one lessons via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The business covers conversation classes, IELTS exam preparation, business English, and interview preparation — serving students from around the world.

The owner had an existing WordPress site built on the Divi theme, but it had fallen into a state of disrepair. When we first looked at it, the site was essentially empty — a bare theme with broken navigation, no content, no service pages, and no way for potential students to understand what was on offer or how to book.

The timing made things urgent. The business had a prize draw promotion planned and going live imminently. Without a functioning website, there was nowhere to send entrants, no way to collect their details, and no system to manage the campaign.

The challenge wasn’t just building a website — it was building an entire online presence from scratch, including backend systems for email marketing and competition management, with a deadline measured in hours rather than weeks.

What We Built: Everything, in One Day

This wasn’t a quick patch job. We treated it as a ground-up rebuild — the same quality we’d deliver on a two-week project, compressed into a single working day.

Complete Website Content

We wrote and built out the full site content, creating dedicated pages for each of the services B4English offers: conversation classes for building fluency and vocabulary, IELTS spoken exam preparation with mock exams and feedback, business English covering professional communication, interview preparation for university and job applications, and a 15-minute consultation call page for new students unsure which course suits them.

Each page was written to clearly explain the service, who it’s for, and how to get started — giving potential students everything they need to make a decision.

Email CRM System

A tutoring business lives and dies by its mailing list. We built a full email marketing system that allows the business to collect and manage subscriber details, send targeted email campaigns, segment contacts by interest or course type, and track opens, clicks, and engagement.

This gives the owner a direct communication channel with both existing students and prospective ones — something that didn’t exist before.

Prize Draw Competition System

The immediate deadline was the prize draw, so this was built first and tested thoroughly. The system includes a dedicated landing page explaining the competition, an entry form that captures contact details and adds them to the CRM, automated confirmation emails to entrants, and backend management for selecting and notifying winners.

The prize draw page was live and accepting entries on the same day we started work.

How We Did It: The Day

Morning — Access and Assessment
Gained access to the hosting environment, assessed the existing WordPress installation, and planned the rebuild. Coordinated with the existing developer to get FTP, database, and email credentials sorted.
Late Morning — Site Structure and Content
Built out the full site structure — homepage, course pages, about page, contact page, booking information. Wrote SEO-aware content for each service offering.
Afternoon — Systems and Functionality
Installed and configured the email CRM system. Built the prize draw entry system with automated confirmations. Set up contact forms, navigation, and user journey.
Late Afternoon — Testing and Launch
Full end-to-end testing of all forms, email delivery, and CRM capture. Prize draw page tested and confirmed live. Analytics installed. Site handed over.

Why This Matters

Most agencies would quote two to four weeks for this scope of work. We did it in a day — not by cutting corners, but because we have the technical skills and systems to move fast when it matters.

This project demonstrates something important about how we work: we’re not just an SEO agency. We’re a technical team that understands WordPress inside out, can build custom systems, write content, and handle hosting — all under one roof. When a client has an urgent need, they don’t have to coordinate between a designer, a developer, a copywriter, and a hosting company. They just talk to us.

The result: B4English went from a broken, empty website to a fully functioning online presence — complete with email marketing and a live prize draw — in a single working day. The prize draw launched on time, entries started coming in immediately, and the business had a proper platform to grow from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really build a full website in a day?

For a service-based business with clear offerings, yes. We’ve been building WordPress sites for years and have the technical depth to move fast. Obviously a 50-page e-commerce site is a different story — but for a professional services site with content, forms, and backend systems, a day is achievable when you know what you’re doing.

Is the quality the same as a longer project?

The core quality is identical — clean code, proper content, working systems. What you don’t get in a single day is the iterative refinement you’d get over a two-week build: A/B testing headlines, tweaking layouts based on user behaviour, and so on. But the foundations are solid and ready to build on.

Do you offer ongoing support after a rapid build?

Yes. Most rapid builds transition into our ongoing support packages, where we handle SEO, content updates, and technical maintenance. The fast build gets you live; the ongoing work makes you visible.

What if I need something similar?

If you’ve got a broken site, a deadline, or just need someone who can move fast without sacrificing quality, get in touch. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can hit your timeline.

Need a Website That Actually Works?

Whether you need a rapid rebuild or a long-term SEO strategy, we’ve got the technical skills to deliver.
